You get what you pay for but it was clean, staff were friendly and food edible. What more do you want. Yes there was a shortage of sunbeds by the pool but always available on roof terrace. Yes the food was repetitive but if you want 5 star food, pay 5 star price.

Just had a great time at Caleta Gardens, rooms were basic but spotless, food was great plenty of choices, drinks were plentiful, staff were friendly and very helpful, used the roof terrace not a lot of room poolside and couldn't stand the stampede when the the sun loungers were unlocked, but all in all we had a fantastic holiday.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at the whole place needs knocking down. Rooms are very tired the beds are very uncomfortable and small the kids might as well sleep on the floor. Pool area is to small and is like a oven no wind gets in because of the height of the hotel and getting a sunbed in the morning is a joke they are chained together until 10am people are waiting around with towels on the floor from 8am then at 10am the man unlocks them and its everyone for there self, saw people knock over in the scrum.

Food was ok you won't go hungry if you can get a plate or cutlery they don't have enough for everyone. Drinks are ok but the bar is under staffed very long queues. Staff are very friendly can't fault them. My advice stay away you will regret it.

It was our second stay at this hotel and once again we enjoyed our stay here. The food was OK, the drinks were more than OK, the staff were friendly and attentive.

During our stay there was a report in a national newspaper concerning "sunbed wars", not a bit true if you wanted a sunbed you had to queue to get one, but you have to in other hotels we have visited. The hotel is a bit dated but clean and comfortable.

Two negative points, there isn't enough staff during meal times or at the bar, but the staff work very hard, so not really a negative. But, if you want entertainment forget it. No pool activities during the day for the kids and in the evening only a quick kids sing song then nothing, oops 1 night we played a game of bingo.

All in all a very good holiday.

Apartments are very clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. A little dated but this won't affect your holiday. No air conditioning but we didn't have any problems as nice breeze every night. We were at the back on second floor. The food is adequate reasonable choice, drinks are ok. Not enough sunbeds for the size. Pool is quite small too, again for the size of the complex. Could do with slightly more activities during the day along with a louder animation team as never heard them. Please remember this is a 2 star property and doesn't claim to be a 4 star so don't go with that expectation.

Food is very poor, staff at pool bar are rude, entertainment was poor to non-existent. Pool bar food was poor and took ages to be made and that's if you received it at all.

The rooms were very clean, the food was lovely, the staff are excellent. They just needed more sunbeds and more entertainment.

Rooms are basic but clean. Food was good. Animation and entertainment was good. The swimming pool was small and there are not enough sun loungers for everyone. The loungers were locked up in a pile each night and unlocked at 10am. This resulted in people queuing and in some cases there were fights for the loungers, it was a stressful start to each day. Would not recommend the hotel for that reason.

Food poor, sunbeds poor condition had to wait until 10am to get one - caused some arguments as only 5 umbrellas. On the plus side rooms were clean and plenty of hot water.

Hotel very clean, great pool, food very good, apartment needs updating. Stayed 15 years ago, still the same. Sunbeds around pool all broken, very dirty, no umbrellas.

Good value for money. Rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment but clean and do the job. Food was good for what we paid for holiday, always something to pick. All inclusive drinks are good, beer is San Miguel. Location is smack bang in the middle. As i said it's good value for what you pay, but don't expect the Hilton it needs a refurbishment.

We had a great time. Food is second to none and the staff are very pleasant. Our third time there and it is getting better all the time. We had a one bedroom apartment which was kept spotless and very comfortable. Although we were all inclusive the room had a microwave and hobs and fridge etc. Safety box also.

Bit disappointed when we arrived and were told that hotel was overbooked and we were sent to the sister hotel for 1 night. It meant we basically lost a day of our holiday as couldn't unpack the first day and then 2nd day had to hang about to checkout of one hotel, get a taxi and transfer to Caleta Gardens. Staff were helpful and we like the location of Caleta Gardens.

It is an older style apartment building but it is kept to a very nice standard of cleanliness. We have been there the same time every year for five years and so appreciate the changes made - new dining area, more entertainment, redecorating etc. We have also filled in their questionnaires and note suggestions have been taken on board. The staff are extremely hard working and try really hard to meet the needs of the guests. We shall definitely want to go again.
