As other people have mentioned before, there are few things that made me rate this place poorly.

The All Inclusive is a joke and the food served in the restaurant is not horrible, but good would not be a true statement either. It is eatable, but that is about it. Poor variety, not nice appearance and plain in taste. (Let's put this way - you won't starve, but you won't enjoy it either).

The place seems to be catering for young Spanish students now, so they are very noisy at all times regardless if its day or night, therefore if you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is not the place to go. (I understand that the levels of noise is not the hotel's fault, but when guests are shouting constantly from their balcony at 3am, the hotel staff should get involved and that does not happen)

One of the swimming pools was out of order for half of the time during my stay there, 3 out of the 6 lifts were also out of service for the whole time I was there.

There was only one guy at the reception who seemed to know what he was doing, all the girls were rude and seemed lost, same for the tall guy who seemed to be only standing there. The cleaning of the room, depends who is cleaning your room really (the first lady was doing a spotless job and was very friendly) then I changed rooms and the new room had a girl cleaning it who would not bother to even empty the bin basket. The light on my balcony was not working and after reporting it, it took them 4 phone calls, 2 trips to the reception and 5 hours to have it fixed.

La Vallette resort is closed, so I don't really understand why they still using the name if they no longer have access to the facilities. The gym is paid extra (5 euros per day if you want to use it) that is also not made clear by the pictures or the booking. Anyway, if you don't mind any of the above, for 200 quid "all inclusive" is not horrible, but is far from what is advertised.

The hotel was clean, the food plentiful but was always warm not hot and the staff were friendly. Couldn't check in until 2.30pm and then took over an hour and a half as most of the Spanish uni students hadn't got the correct paperwork. Only go to this hotel if you like a young vibe. There is a club next door which the students use and the music was loud until 3am as were the students. Having said that it is a perfect location for getting out and about.

Firstly La Vallette is the sister Hotel to St Georges Park and has been empty and abandoned for over 2 years and should be removed from the title. I have been staying at St Georges Park for 20 years but for the last 5 years it has got worse and worse and this was my last visit. The new management seem to think their future lies in catering for Spanish students. The day I booked in 400 students also booked in. The hotel had done a deal with them to include All Inclusive, so what you ended up with was 400 teenagers with a free bar. The resulting mayhem, round the pool and in the lounge bar was added to by the Hotel thinking they would enjoy loud music all day and evening. Please don't send anyone over 25 to this hotel, it will drive them mad. 3 more lots of 400 arrived during the month I was there and I was informed they had bookings for 1700 in May. Finally one of the two swimming pools has been closed since February and the surrounding sunbathing area resulting in everyone being squashed into half the space. Worst holiday ever, but no fault of yours.

You get what you pay for and I didn't pay a lot for two of us. This hotel is definitely in need of refurbishment, very out dated and would appreciate a lick of paint inside and out. Staff were all lovely though and more than helpful, after reading other comments that they were very rude. I never received any of this, they were always smiling and if I asked a question happy to help me straight away.

I did go all inclusive but decided to eat out as the food did not look appetising the evening I went down to restaurant, but then the price I paid it still worked out a great deal and I heard from other guests the breakfast was good, so if I returned I would do bed & breakfast this time. The local restaurants are very reasonable and you get huge portions, I would recommend the Scotsman pub - great fish & chips and homemade pies.

I had a very good time whilst here, the room was cleaned daily if you wanted it and fresh towels daily also, which is more than you get in some over priced hotels I've been in. Great base for sightseeing and great if you're under 25 as the clubs are literally next door and are pumping out great tunes to the early hours, sometimes up until 6am. So don't go there if you can't sleep through noise. For me this was not too important as I can sleep through anything. The hotel never laid on any entertainment whilst we were there, but not in holiday season, so may do in the holiday months.

Overall great base, great staff and thus made for a pretty darn good holiday. Just remember if you want boutique hotel standards pay for it, this is basic cheap accommodation - that's what you pay for and it done us adequately for 5 days.

Absolutely loved my stay here, lovely pool area, friendly people, very safe. Only issue would be that there are so many students, families struggle to sleep until at least 3am sometimes later. Local clubs right outside resort so can get very noisy in hotel when the young ones come back slightly too drunk, banging doors at all hours shouting etc!

Rooms and facilities very run down and the whole place looked grubby and in need of a complete overhaul. Electrics in room were not working due to dodgy system with the plastic key that was needed in the slot by the door. Had to fiddle with it every time to get electrics to all work. There was no kettle and the kettle then supplied was unsafe as the plug got very hot and caused a scorch mark to appear. The toilet developed a leak around the base. Then the flush system broke and the leak came back. There were exposed wires in the ceilings around the fans. The lifts only worked for a couple of days and we had to go to another set of which only one worked. The faceplate for the lift was hanging off exposing the wires. The ladies toilet just off reception was disgusting. They wouldn't flush and were just left full and dirty even after it was brought to their attention. Most of the staff however were lovely and tried their best to resolve our issues with the room. I realise this was a budget holiday but this is not an excuse for it not to be clean and in full working order. We weren't the only ones with problems as most of the other guests we spoke to also had similar issues.

Room was large but in serious need of upgrade. Everywhere was filthy, lifts (looked as though it had been used as a toilet) was there a week and it was never cleaned, always breaking down as well. Had to ask for sheets to be changed, same for clean towels then only got hand towels. Air conditioning didn't work in lobby or restaurant. Had to go to another hotel for your evening meal. Would I recommend - definite no.

Beds were clean and comfy. Pool is great. Can't say much else positive about it. Fans in the rooms (have to pay for air conditioning if you want it) are completely rubbish, wobbling off the ceiling. Our fan stopped working at 2:30am half way through our holiday, giving us a sweltering night of no sleep. Staff member we spoke to the next morning got us another room, very helpful lady she was. Once we changed room the fan worked but it was pathetic, barely made a difference. Bathroom floors were disgusting, they need cleaned better. Even the floor in the room was dirty, my feet were constantly dirty from the floor. Sold as self catering, but given no pots and pans and no kettle, in both the first room and replacement room. First room had no fridge and the cooker didn't work. Pathetic to call it self catering and fridge, kettle and pot are the basics for self catering. When asking reception for pots and pans, there were none to give out. When asking reception for a kettle the answer was "we don't just give out kettles". Should be sold as room only. Pool area was totally fine, would be nice if they served lunch snacks like sandwiches or toasties by the pool for those that aren't all inclusive. Hotel is very popular for young Italians on boys and girls holidays, because it's right next to the main clubs. Not a problem, we only had one night that was particularly noisy in the hallways, just something to keep in mind. Overall, I was not impressed with the standards of this hotel and wouldn't stay there again. Notes to management: clean your bathrooms, update your fans and sort out the self catering rooms so that guests can actually cater for themselves. Also, fix the safety deposit boxes - 23 of us there for a wedding, and only one room had a working safety deposit box. Ridiculous.

I had to change room after first night because of terrible condition, (dirty, smelly, no tv nothing, bathroom's door bigger than door frame). I got another room which had better condition but the television did not work there was no hair dryer kettle etc. And the room was so cold. Our room was on the 7th floor which was noisy because of Italian teenager who was running, screaming and tapping on the doors all nights. When I complained about them on the reception they just said they can do nothing. The breakfast was not so good neither. If someone want to relax do not choose this hotel. I would rather recommend this hotel for people who wants to go out and party every night.

Not a good hotel, your rooms are not cleaned, beds not done, bins not emptied, no loo roll. If you want any of these things do them yourself or go to reception and clean towels and loo rolls are handed out. The food was invariably cold, which was a shame because it was good when it was hot; their answer is we have provided a microwave. The staff are good but are let down by the Management.
