Overview
Luna Holiday Complex is within walking distance of Mellieha bay, one of the largest beaches on the island and Mellieha Village, which is just 250 metres away, with its traditional shops, bars and restaurants.
Location
The complex is situated within walking distance from Mellieha Bay, Malta's most popular sandy beach, 250m from Mellieha Village and 17km from Valletta. There is a bus stop just a 5min walk away.
Malta International Airport is 20 km from the hotel.
Facilities
Construction work commenced at the rear of the hotel on 16/10/23 for an indefinite amount of time, the hotel will try to allocate you a room away from any potential disturbances this may cause.
The family pool will be closed for general maintenance from 14/10/24 - 21/10/24. No heavy machinery will be used so disruptions will be minimal.
Construction work on the bathrooms and facade of the hotel will commence on 11/11/2024 and is expected to be completed by 10/03/2025.
Facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, one of which is the adults only (17+) Sky Lounge rooftop pool, as well as sun-terraces with loungers and umbrellas, a pool bar, games room and a gym. There is also a restaurant, lounge bar and a snack bar. The outdoor family pool converts into an indoor pool during the colder months.
Guest services offered include 24hr reception, currency exchange, Wifi access in the lobby area (local charge), car rental and a mini-market.
Rooms
Consisting of 158 rooms; Superior studios, standard studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Each one is provided with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, a balcony or terrace, a direct dial telephone, a ceiling/standing fan, safety deposit box (local charge) and a kitchenette equipped with two-ring cooker, electric oven, fridge and a kettle.
Studios have a capacity of two persons and a child. Superior studios also come equipped with air-conditioning and television. One bedroom apartments maximum capacity is four. Two bedroom apartments maximum is five and feature a double bed, two single beds and a sofa bed.
