Los Delfines is situated on the western coast between the popular resorts of Cala'n Forcat and Cala'n Blanes. The three resorts merge together to offer visitors a wide variety of bars, restaurants, entertainment venues and shops.

The resort has a family friendly atmosphere, and although the night-life is fairly busy, its more geared towards families and young couples.

There are several small sandy beaches which have calm shallow waters which are safe for small children to play and swim.

Beaches

There are several beaches in this group of resorts of resorts, with the one at Cala'n Blanes being the largest and best equipped with a couple of beachside cafes/bars. This beach can also become quite busy in the summer months.

There are some sunbathing platforms to be found alongside a little sandy area at Cala'n Forcat and although there are no facilities as such, it is close to local facilities.

Things to Do

Watersports are popular here and there is a dive centre which provides equipment. Sailing, water skiing, waterpolo and even tennis are also popular.

There is a mini train that runs through the town and to other resorts and you can hop on and off at bus stops along the way.

There is a water park in Los Delfines which caters for smaller children and a bigger water park in Cala'n Bosch which has many great water slides for all ages and loads of other attractions too such as play areas, games room and go karting, so definitely something for the whole family.

Out and About

A lot of the shops in this resort are to be found at the Cala'n Forcat end but there are many supermarkets, souvenir shops and gift shops selling a variety of goods.

There is a good selection of bars and restaurants in the resort, you will be sure to find something to your liking.

The nearby resort of Ciudadella has a far greater range of shops, bars and restaurants.

Nearby Attractions

A variety of watersports can be found in neighbouring resorts, as can various boat tours.

Not only does Ciudadella have a great selection of shops and restaurants, there are also many historic things to see such as the 14th century gothic cathedral, a couple of museums and the remains of the fortified walls. For the perfect end to your day, venture down to the harbour for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

The capital, Mahon also has it's fair share of historic buildings such as La Mola, a gigantic fort which is located at the harbour side and the Baroque church of Santa Maria to name but a few. Many people come to Mahon to shop and will certainly not be disappointed. There are many bars and restaurants and nightclubs too, so it may well be worth saying over to take full advantage of what Mahon has to offer.
