Visitors to Paris can expect mild to warm summers, with occasional heat waves, while winters are chilly with temperatures hovering around freezing point.

Out and About

Close enough for weekend breaks and far enough for a summer holiday, France conjures up images of romantic city sight-seeing, beautiful countryside, the charming French Riviera and the unadulterated fun of Disneyland Paris.

Paris is teeming with museums and art galleries, fashion boutiques and chic wine bars, world famous monuments and historic buildings. Explore the city by segway, bus or take a river cruise. Browse the artworks at the Louvre Museum and the Orsay Museum and learn all about the city at the interactive Paris Story Museum.

Nice, on the French Riviera is set around the Bay of Angels and has lovely beaches lapped by the Mediterranean and backed by the Promenade des Anglais. In addition, Nice is an ideal base to explore the region and is in easy reach of medieval hillside villages and the Provence wine country routes, Monte Carlo, St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco.

Disneyland Paris, comprising the Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, is surrounded by hotels to suit all budgets. The theme parks have rides and attractions for all the family and shows and parades with all the characters that the kids love. Dining and entertainment are all taken care of at the Disney Village, where you will find bars, restaurants, cinemas, live music and children's shows. If you don't want to spend all your time in the Park, you will find plenty of medieval towns and villages, historic chateaus to explore nearby and, of course, you are in easy reach of Paris for a city sight-seeing tour.
