Nice room but stank of cigarettes. Food not bad. Entertainment not that good and very cold due to being in open air at windy end. Short walk to reasonable town and good selection of decent food joints. High charges for safe box and Wi-fi. Even charge to weigh suit case and print boarding passes. Don't use local car hire as it's cheaper to go to hertz office in centre of town. Island very barren but lovely sand dunes on North east coast road. Also you have to pay for the telly.

The best hotel in the area with the best accommodation, entertainment, staff, food and customer service. I am a regular at this hotel and would recommend it 100% to everyone for a great holiday for adults and kids alike. Very good value for an all inclusive too.

Pool area was good, the pool was a bit murky, food was good with a good choice. Staff very helpful, bar staff good and Emilio and Lukas were great with entertainment. Didn't agree with wristbands being taken from us at 12 o'clock on departure day but other than that holiday good and would stay there again.

We booked this hotel as cheep and cheerful January getaway unfortunately the weather wasn't the best but we made the most of it, we thoroughly enjoyed our whole 3 week stay.

The food was more than adequate for what you pay, we were never at a loss at what to eat. Its a bit tired in places but staff and management are on the ball keeping it clean and tidy, with maid service every other day.

The pools are very cold so not many people used them but all the hotels were the same. Good location with views towards the harbour just a few minutes walk into town. Staff are excellent.

Room was well equipped but no kettle which you had to hire from the reception. The room was cleaned every other day and cleaners did a good job.

We went all inclusive and the food was a bit hit and miss and even though it was January and not overly full there was long queues and you were unable to find a table at times.

Staff on the whole were friendly though one member of staff made us feel as if we were an interruption as she was on the phone.

Entertainment is laid on though was some what repetitive.

We also hired room TV, this was also a hit or miss with channels disappearing or unable to access any channels. We managed to get a partial refund.

Location was ok and if fit enough an easy walk to the town however the resort is very hilly so not really suitable for people with mobility problems.

Plastic glasses at night poor. Food in restaurant was fine but they were always running out of plates, cutlery and glasses. Evening entertainment was poor. Pool areas were amazing. We used the two quieter pools because the main one was far too noisy.

We stayed in `C` block and our apartment was ok although in need of some tlc-there was no door handle on the inside of the kids room and the handle was upside down on the bathroom door! It was however clean which is always our first priority. Maid service and towel change was every other day and the bedding was changed once in the 2 weeks we were there. Facilities in the room were good for us as we were all inclusive but fairly limited if you wanted to self cater-there was a fridge, a 2 burner hob and a microwave. We were very close to the main pool and entertainment which was handy. The pool areas were kept pretty clean and although some people were moaning about the water my little boy who has very sensitive skin had no ill effects from it. There are plenty of bins around to dispose of plastic cups etc although a lot of people seem incapable of using them! There was a good selection of drinks at the bar but limited to 2 drinks per person which can be a bit of a pain when you're with your kids but fairly standard practice. Snacks available all day are ham and cheese toasties, chips, tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches and hot dogs. Sun loungers are reserved very early so if you want one be prepared for an early rise! We did see the lifeguard removing towels from loungers which had been reserved and not used for hours. Entertainment was pretty rubbish with bingo and karaoke being the main events most nights. There is a mini disco for about half an hour which my 7 year old really enjoyed. There are 2 other pools, one with a bar (much warmer) and one without but we didn't use these much so can't really comment. Food we thought was good. Breakfast was everything from cereals, fruit, toast, fresh bread to sausage, bacon and eggs to freshly made omelettes and pancakes. If you can't find something to eat there then there's no hope! Lunch and dinner were pretty much meat, fish, pasta, salad, veg, chips, cake, fruit and ice cream. We had 4 vegetarians in our party (3 of them kids) and they were very rarely stuck for something to eat and when they were I'd say it was more their problem than the hotels! Packed lunches are available to order if you're heading out for the day, again we didn't use them so can't comment on what they're like. We went to the Mediterranean restaurant twice and would not recommend it! The first time was the opening night for this season and everything was a bit slow but that was ok-we don't eat out or go on holiday to rush so not a problem although it appeared to be for some families who just walked out! The second week was worse with people getting their starters after their main course (and that's the ones who got fed at all!) We hadn't had our order taken after 3/4 of an hour and the waiter was very stressed. We were told it was not possible to get food so we went off down to the normal restaurant! Having paid for 14 days all inclusive I was not happy to find out that they wanted our wristbands back at 12 on the day of departure although we weren't being picked up until 5.40p.m. as we didn't arrive til 9p.m on the first day that meant that we should have had breakfast and lunch on the last day. We didn't hand ours in as we sent my husband down to check out but the receptionist gave him a right telling off! A lot of people were moaning about this and I think for what it would cost them it would be worth it for the good will. All in all we weren't too disappointed for what we'd paid but we wouldn't rush back here.

Lovely little bungalows. Very clean and well equipped. Safe in the room for 20 Euros per week. Also 20 for English TV. No kettle in the room but heard we could hire one for 10 Euros. We used a pan, but it seemed a bit mean to equip the place so well and leave the kettle out. Full sized fridge though. The whole place needs some tlc. Looks a bit uncared for. Staff in the restaurant were brilliant and worked very hard, but food was often lukewarm or cold. The only place to get a drink in the evenings was the bar at the family pool, where all the children's entertainment etc was. Hence it was overcrowded and long queues for the bar. Atmosphere a bit like Butlins really and not for us. Would've been nice if the other pool bar could've stayed open in the evening and provided a quiet bar for people without children. Pool near the restaurant was lovely (the only other one with a bar), but a lot of the sun loungers needed replacing and were very uncomfortable. Location great, 5 minutes walk into town. There seemed to be a lot of facilities that were no longer used (Kids Club, Mediterranean Restaurant, Chinese Restaurant) which was a shame. A cheap break so didn't mind that we had to go out and pay for drinks every night, but the place could be so much better.

The Blue Sea was very good value for money, rooms cleaned and towels changed every other day. Sun loungers hard to find unless up early, accommodation as expected, staff very friendly.

Pool bar had long wait for drinks and more staff were required at very busy times. Breakfast and lunch always good selection, dinner a bit hit and miss.

It was nice. Food was good but the main pool was under maintenance which we weren't informed about and the locks on the apartments seemed unsafe. There were two burglaries while we were there. The place was cleanish and the best thing was it was close to the town.

The hotel needed some updating and the food needs to be improved, apart from that it was good value for money. Due to the many stairs, not ideal for older travelers.
