Good food, good hotel facilities. Far from centre.

I would only rate the hotel 3.5 - I did complete the questionnaire before I left and mentioned the undermentioned comments. Reasons - negative - 1 - Although the hotel is well maintained and in good condition but the surrounding area looks like a half finished building site (like a bomb site) with houses half built but occupied by the local inhabitants. The roads in the area are in a similar state. 2 - The swimming pool with the slides does not have either steps or a ladder to get into the pool except if you want to use the slides. You cannot use these steps to get into the pool as there is no access from the area where the sun loungers are. The showers by the pool side were not cleaned and full of dirty water. 3 - There was plenty of food available but no variety e.g. at breakfast, you could have about 7 different ways of having eggs as a main dish. Half of the food consisted of salads, soft cheese and other vegetarian dishes. No coffee or tea were available after the meal. 4 - The evening entertainment was disappointing as it was either music quiz, bingo but we did have a singer sing in Turkish with man playing an electric instrument. The entertainment was only lasted about five days at the start of the holiday. Every day there was water gymnastics, water polo or darts (the daily programme was the same). 5 - The land train only ran (Mon - Sat) three times per day 10.00 - 13.00 and 17.00 into the town and to walk into Kyrenia was not recommended - see comment 1 but the taxis were cheap and plentiful. 6 - The man-made beach overlooked the commercial harbour with no sea front access into Kyrenia. Positive 1 - The choice of bread was great and fresh. 2 - The staff were great, made you welcome and were friendly.

Lovely hotel, friendly atmosphere, nice clean rooms, good choice of food, nothing too much trouble. Very good facilities for all ages. Would highly recommend. Will go back again.

The resort is lovely with great views of the sea. The staff at this resort know how to make you feel special. This hotel is conveniently located if you wish to explore Kyrenia and the surrounding area. Please don't listen to people complaining about the surrounding area.
