Stayed for eight nights in beautiful Oia. It is a place we would like to return to one day. This was a holiday and birthday celebration. We are so glad we chose Oia to stay. Plenty of restaurants and lovely shops. There is no beach to speak of but all the hotels and villas have their own pools and the wonderful views of the Caldera is breath taking. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Oia is best experienced in the morning before the hoards of tourists arrive and crowd the streets. It is as picturesque as all the photos would have you believe and in that respect it does not disappoint, it is a destination for those seeking to relax and do little.

Oia is absolutely beautiful. The views, food, shops, people - all spot on. There are things to do if you don't want to spend your whole holiday relaxing. Boat trips, wine tasting, trips to the different towns. Food was delicious and fresh.

Oia's very attractive and has a good range of restaurants, bars and tavernas. Staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. We went in June which is before the main season kicks in. Lots of day-trippers and cruise ships come into the town each day; in June that was rarely a problem but it would get very crowded later in the summer.
