Due to many hotels not having photocopiers on location, guests are required to take a copy with them ready for arrival. This procedure has been put in place by the local tourist board.
Please note: non-Indian nationals will NOT be allowed entry into Goa if they do not hold a machine readable passport. You must obtain a Tourist visa to visit Goa (before departing the UK). Full details and restrictions can be found on the Indian High Commission website. You may also be eligible for an eTV (electronic tourist visa), please check the FCO website for up to date information. A photocopy of your passport must also be taken for check in at the accommodation. Please note that as most flights to Goa operate overnight, and arrive the next day, you may wish to consider this when booking the first night and duration of your accommodation.
