Allsun Barlovento Hotel is located right on a wide stretch of the sandy beach at the top end of the bay in Costa Calma. It is just 5 minutes walk to the Sotovento shopping centre (300 metres) or, in the opposite direction it is 4 minutes walk to supermarket and 7 minutes walk from the Canada del Rio shopping centre (500 metres). Watersports (local charges) are available at the beach such as snorkelling, sailing and windsurfing. The bus stop is approx 200 metres away if you wish to venture further.
Costa Calma is approx 71km away from Fuerteventura Airport.
Facilities
Allsun Barlovento Hotel is set either side of a long narrow palm garden which runs down to the beach front pool complex. The outdoor pool area boasts a large swimming pool with waterfall feature, a further pool, a pool for children and surrounding sun terraces with loungers and parasols.
Further leisure facilities and activities include a Spa, fitness gym, an aerobics studio, a tennis court, Nordic walking, beach volleyball, aqua fit, games room, table tennis, mini golf and children's playground. The Spa features a steam bath, jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, relaxation area and a menu of massage and beauty treatments (local charges).
The children's mini club (ages 3-17) and adult entertainment is run by Allsun a German company, with all animation and entertainment performances spoken in German only.
Social and dining venues include a restaurant, a pool-side bar, a piano bar and a garden plaza with a show stage. The restaurant serves buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner and also has show cooking and regular theme nights. The pool-side bar is open throughout the day for drinks and light snacks.
Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, elevators and pool towel hire (with deposit). There is also an internet corner and laundry service (all with local charges).
