Ajman is one of the seven emirates comprising the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With an area of just 260 square kilometres, Ajman is the smallest emirate by area and still retains its intimate feel which is different to the other emirate states.

Ajman is situated 25km from Dubai International Airport and borders Sharjah, the Cultural Capital of the Arab World.
Things to see and do
Ajman has a white sand beach and is ideal for swimming. Dolphin spotting is also available.
There is a City Centre Mall which offers a good variety of shops and food outlets and for those seeking more traditional goods should head to the Iranian Souq where there is pottery and local goods.
A popular sightseeing trip is to the Ajman Fortress which was built in the 16th Century and is filled with artifacts.
