Hotel was extremely quiet due to the current situation in Egypt so there were only a few members of staff which is completely understandable. Room was clean and compact. Pool also clean with plenty of loungers. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has it's own small beach area which is really nice and is right next to the hotel. Has a lovely seating area next to the sea which also has a bar. Food was good as well. The hotel's location is fantastic! Right next to the sea and beach and only a short walk from the centre of Naama Bay. Overall the hotel is fantastic and I would definitely come back here again. It's just a shame the resort is quiet at the moment, however this should pick up in the next month or so when flights from the UK will start up again.

Wonderful hotel set on edge of Naama Bay, had a king size bed with sea view. Rooms cleaned every day, hotel was spotless, sun loungers put out for you every morning if you like a particular spot by pool, beach or on the deck area. Makram and Islam the pool / beach guys are brilliant. Pool not heated till end of November so only got in once as the sea was warmer. Free safe, mini bar and wi fi, food was lovely and we are fussy eaters, light lunches available which was massive beef burger, chicken burger or pizza and chips- yummy. All staff very very good, would do anything to help and please you, Kamar is a credit to the hotel he is working front of house at reception and was so helpful to everyone. Other guests enjoyed it as much as we did and Mr Sayed Hadad reception manager was lovely, also happy to change anything to your needs. We did change rooms eventually as Pasha Nightclub across the bay had very loud music, only the air con on all night could drown it out. We have been twice and have already booked flights for next year to return to this idyllic hotel, absolutely fabulous.

We had a very enjoyable 11 days here, a small hotel with very friendly and efficient staff, food was as good as we have had anywhere in Egypt, the hotel is in a superb position and the roof top pool area is probably the best in Naama Bay with views of the bay and all the boats going and coming. Room was fine, clean and with good shower and towels. Dining room was very efficient and food was as expected in Egypt, some of the red wine was not acceptable but it was soon changed. The staff were very good and happy at all times, although we got told off for putting our own sun shade up.

Just returned from a week at the Iberotel Lido and cannot rate the hotel and its staff highly enough. From the moment of our arrival to our final departure, we felt as if we were the only guests that mattered. The staff were attentive, diligent and never obsequious (unlike other hotels we've experienced). Despite the owner informing us the hotel was 90% occupied, we never felt the hotel to be crowded or the level of service to suffer. We were lucky enough to be allocated one of the sea level rooms and felt safe enough at night to sleep with the door open (but chained) so that we could hear the lapping of the sea on the rocks outside our door. Low key but vigilant security at night reinforced this feeling of peace and serenity. Service was of the highest order with bedding and towels changed daily, plentiful and varied food in the restaurant (including loads of fresh fruit) plus talented acts to entertain the guests on 3 nights of the week. This is certainly not a hotel for children as there is no animation team or kids club (a real bonus in our book)! The Lido is ideally suited for excursions, diving and just exploring Naama Bay. Everything is within easy walking distance of the hotel. Just don't forget to explore the bazaars and well lit back streets. We loved being able to see the colourful fish in the sea from our hotel room decking and quality snorkeling was available right off the sun deck with gruber, lion fish and angel fish in abundance. Although the hotel has an on site beauty parlour and dive school, we never experienced the hard sell or continuous pestering of hawkers you sometimes experience. A simple polite no stopped any sales pitch and we were then left in peace for the rest of the week. All in all a relaxing week in a great hotel. Thank you Joseph et al (good staff, too numerous to mention by name here). A couple of points to note re Naama Bay and excursions at this time and out of the control of the hotel that you may need to be aware of: 1. The Egyptian Tourist Police currently have a security ban on trips to St Catherine's Monastery - a let down to us as we were keen to go, but couldn't fault the excursion rep who delivered the bad news to us at 1930 hrs the evening before our departure after being refused permission for us to travel that evening. 2. The Egyptian Tourist Police are also banning airport shuttle private limos from collecting at the Naama Bay hotels (odd as they will let them in to drop you off and will also allow mini buses in for airport shuttles). It means you may have to walk to your car or arrange a lift in the hotel minibus to the security barrier on the main road. Just another idiosyncrasy of the Egyptian security system.

The hotel is very tired and the food monotonous and all tastes the same. The wine is like vinegar. The rooms need updating and it would be nice to know that there are no smoking rooms available as our room smelt of stale smoke. The bedding and towels were clean and changed daily. The staff are really nice and helpful and mostly cheerful and happy. The pool was freezing until the day before we came home. Alaa the pool boy was always happy and had the sunbeds all organized he takes a pride in his job making sure everyone is ok and won't allow you to put a umbrella up. Mohammed and Osama in the bars are very attentive and happy. The location is amazing with a view of the bay and town or bay and sea from most rooms. They have concentrate juice in the bars but diluted sugary stuff in the restaurant at breakfast which is not very pleasant.

Fantastic small hotel, the staff work very hard and make you feel very welcome. Fridges and safes in the room with no charge. Great location only 5 mins walk from Naama Bay and great views over the bay. The food is good with a good variety, plenty of salads and different meat and fish dishes every day, also a pasta and pizza station.

Returning 9 times to this hotel says it all! It's not really geared for children or people with mobility needs. Staff are attentive and the general manger Mr Tamer is the best.
Food is edible, there is always something to eat but it's a bit bland on flavour. Location Location Location is everything and this hotel has that. Hotel very clean. Small hotel and great location at great price.

The rooms were clean, staff on the whole very good, but at times a little disorganised, the location great. I'm afraid the hotel needs a face lift as I have stayed there a number of times over the past 10 years, the last time apart from my recent stay was two years ago when I could not fault the hotel at all. Unfortunately on one occasion I had to speak to the general manager about the food not being up to standard (i.e. salad not being fresh and no cooked vegetables on the main menu) however he did rectify this immediately.

Service and hotel great but as an all-inclusive I found the hotel in need of a management re-think.

If you arrive after 2pm (say 10pm) your all-inclusive will start from then, but on departure regardless of your arrival time your AI is cut off at 12am. You may be lucky if your room is not booked and be allowed to keep your room until 2pm but they will still insist your AI is finished. You may take dinner and have a drink with that but any other will be made payable. So you are NOT getting 7 days AI.

Secondly there are no day or evening snacks your all-inclusive is limited to timed breakfast, lunch and tea only within the dinner room. Anything else is payable. There are three bar counters two open through the day and one in the evening from 6-11 only and every time you go for a drink you will be asked your room number which a member of staff will record so they know exactly how many drinks you have had. All service areas are outside and can be chilly of an evening.

Food is only average and quite repetitive with no great taste at all.
Rooms are nice and spacious with good showers and the house keeping is excellent.

WIFI signals are very slow. You will be provided with a free 150MB on arrival after that it is payable, in this day and age I think this needs addressed?

There are a lot of stairs within this hotel which could prove difficult for people with walking difficulties. There is very limited entertainment. The only entertainment we had that was supplied by the hotel was a belly dancer at tea time in the dinner hall on a Thursday evening.
You will struggle getting a taxi to drop you right at the door as security prevents regular cars coming down the street were the hotel is based and you may have to drag your cases to the hotel quite a bit so I advise using a registered transfer. The hotel will charge you around £25 for providing the service on their own bus.

In all the hotel is a good base to walk into the nightlife of Naama, has excellent views and staff are great but if you are looking for an all-inclusive hotel with entertainment, beach, daytime snacks, kids activities and luxury this hotel is not for you. What you get here is full board with drinks, nothing else.

Room Tip: Pool is small and on the roof. If you are located a ground floor room there are a lot of stairs to climb

Fantastic small boutique style hotel. Perfectly located at the end of Naama Bay with just a 5 minute walk into the heart of things, but yet far enough away to be really relaxing. Amazing views of the whole Bay with some great sealife. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food good and plentiful. Lovely rooftop pool and well kept private beach. Great for couples or singles.

This was my 4th visit to Sharm, but only this hotel prompted me to write a review.
After going to a mixture of hotels in Sharm I honestly believe I have found a hotel I can keep going back to time after time and never get bored.

Location -
the hotel has without a doubt the best location in Naama bay, just a couple of minutes walk and you are in the centre of town with all the shops bars/cafes you can want. Stunning views of the bay, where there is always something to watch in the day.

Hotel - the hotel is a small hotel by Sharm standards, but that's what makes it so friendly. There are three great bars, I loved the beach bar and the pool bar in the day, two great barmen in Mohammed and Samuel.
The lobby bar in the evening was also fun, Samuel on the bar again, busy boy.
There is a lovely rooftop swimming pool (heated in winter) and Jacuzzi,
no problem getting a sunbed, Mackram does an amazing job up there.
There is a nice beach area also.
Reception were the best and most friendly I have ever met, top job guys.

Restaurant - the service in the restaurant is second to none, I really enjoyed the food first week, it did get a little bit repetitive the second week but I always find that with all inclusive. Loved the breakfast omelettes and fried eggs were very nice, pancakes were good also. Lunch and evening meal there was always a choice of meats and fish, there is also a pasta and pizza station to choose from so no need to eat the same things everyday.

Drink - I enjoyed the drinks at this hotel, beer was served from the bottle and went down well, the cocktails were as good as any you can buy in town.
Nothing is watered down in this hotel.

Managers -there were always many managers available if you had any questions for them, and they were always very helpful and friendly.

Rooms - the rooms were a decent size and were kept spotlessly clean, so no problem here, after all you only sleep in the room.

Would I go back there, just try and stop me.
