Meliá Fuerteventura is set towards the south of Fuerteventura, and offers great sports and leisure facilities for all ages including swimming pools and a spa – perfect for a couples’ or family holiday in the Canaries.
Location
This hotel is located alongside Sotavento Beach, and is surrounded by the palm trees and sand dunes of Jandia National Park. The beach is an international hub for windsurfing and other watersports. Costa Calma is the nearest commercial centre, where you’ll find shops, bars and restaurants – this pretty seaside town is about 3km away.
The hotel is 68km away from Fuerteventura Airport.
Facilities
Meliá Fuerteventura has an impressive outdoor swimming pool complex, set in landscaped gardens and sun terraces. There is a large lagoon-style pool, a sports pool, a tropical pool and a children's pool with slides and a splash area. The spa (local charges) offers massages and beauty treatments and features a sauna, a Turkish bath, hydro massage and treatment rooms.
Further leisure facilities include tennis and paddle tennis courts, a children's playground, a games room with pool and table tennis and a gym.There are some organised activities for adults and a mini club for children (ages 5-12) in high season.
Social and dining venues include two restaurants, a snack bar, a pool bar, an Adults Only bar and the Fun Pub.
Guests staying The Level rooms and suites have exclusive access to the Level Lounge and internet corner, a sun terrace with whirlpools and a private breakfast room.
