Lovely grounds. Food much better than expected. Helpful staff. Everything just looks very tired and in need of repair and some TLC. Great holiday though overall.

The hotel and surroundings are beautiful but the food is mediocre (in all of the restaurants). The swimming pools are nice but the habit of putting your towel on the beds at 07.00 in the morning is annoying. Staff are nice and friendly.

Hotel is good for the price. Rooms need desperately updating, food is ok and towels. Booking all sunbeds at dawn is a real problem. Grounds etc are nice and hotel is close to the beach but animation is the reason most people return. Overall it is worth the money.

Spent a week here 4th to 11th October 2014. I think the hotel is great! Was a bit concerned when we arrived, mainly because there was no air con or fan and no fridge. Rented both for not an enormous sum, so all good. Room was fine, a bit dark because there was a lot of 'Moroccan Style' wood on our balcony, which kept out the light, but it also kept the room cool. Bit weird that the wash basin is in a different place to the bathroom, but soon got used to it. Yes, if you have mobility problems, avoid this hotel. There are steps everywhere! Sometimes for no apparent reason as you can go up half a dozen steps then immediately go down the same number! The main restaurant Oasis (which turned out to be the only buffet restaurant - there was a smaller one but it remained closed throughout our stay) offered a wide variety of foods. Never had a problem finding something I liked, and I'm vegetarian. Strangest thing was, it's the first time I've ever seen pork offered in a Muslim country. I found the (very large) restaurant quite confusing as there were lots of dining areas that, to me, all looked the same and I kept losing my table after going for food! 'Snacks' offered at the Pizza Restaurant 1pm to 4pm was a much nicer experience, with waiter service, although the menu was much more limited. We managed 4 of the 'A La Carte' Restaurants. Need to be prebooked but no limit to the number of times you go. All have a set menu, so worth looking before you book to check they're offering something you'd like to eat. Menus are available at the side of the booking desk. Again a much nicer experience because of the waiter service, but only wine or soft drinks available. Would've been nice if the blokes could've had a beer. Loads of pools. Main one has music and activities. Can't comment as we didn't frequent it. All the others are much quieter. Never once had trouble getting sunbeds, even though, as is often the case, loads of people persisted in 'reserving' sunbeds, then not coming to them for hours. You can get towels but there is a (returnable) deposit. We had our own so didn't bother. The beach is a bit of a walk (especially for us as we were in the 'Tamlelt' end), but lovely! Always a cool breeze off the sea, private roped off area dedicated to the hotel meant guests weren't 'bothered' by the salesmen. Soft drinks available to drink, included in the AI. Best to take some change with you as you have to use the public toilets (about 200yds down the seafront) and they charge you to go in.

The hotel is a lovely place but the service in the bars and restaurants was poor. No cups, knives and forks - we were stood every day waiting. 1 towel left between 2 of us. No toilet roll. No electric 1st day but this was eventually sorted out. Long wait for a drink. The place needs managing better. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

El Pueblo Tamlelt Hotel is a nice hotel. The only drawback is that guests reserve beds at the swimming pool early in the morning. This gives other people (who do not want to do that) no chance to enjoy the swimming pool. We have asked reception about this but they say they cannot do anything.

Very pleasant. Fed very well. Lots to eat. Hospitality was the best I've ever seen. Was made to feel very welcome by the workers at the hotel. They were always smiling and getting us to participate in everything. Coming up to us asking us if we needed anything. Talking to us like we were their friends rather than their customers.
