Stayed in block A, overlooking the beach, about 5 minutes walk from the pool, apartment was basic and clean, towels changed regularly and bedding changed a couple of times, guys at reception all very helpful. You have to get up early for a sunbed 7.30, otherwise your going to struggle to get one; if you dump your towel on one and go off the lifeguard (rock steady Eddie ) will remove your towel after about 30 minutes. Where Costa Mar is located is the quieter end of Carmen, we used to walk up to the main area of Carmen at night time where you have a better choice of restaurants and shops (bit cheaper up that end). Would I go back - yes I would.

Apartment was very spacious, modern and had very good self catering facilities. The pool area was surprisingly small for such a large complex, but pool was really nice, comfy loungers and pool bar had a good variety. Our apartment was in block A apartment number 26. first floor directly looking onto the beach and had its own private entrance. The only thing was the entrance was on a public street and didn't have a barrier or fence/gate and didn't feel like it was part of the complex. Probably wouldn't have felt comfortable if I had been a sole traveller. We also had the only apartment that did not get the sun morning, noon or night which was a bit unfortunate. The large Spar across the road was great as well as the few cafes and bars for breakfast or snacks.

Apartments were fine, and staff were helpful however the bar area and availability was a little restricted.

We have stayed there three times now, great value. Right on the beach next to supermarket and some restaurants. Also Costa Mars own restaurant offers a great choice of food at a very good price. Ps. It's just 8 mins from airport.

It was clean and tidy just a bit dated. Had problem with 1st room but got changed next day.
