Location
The Occidental Cozumel enjoys a tranquil beachfront location on the island’s southwest coast, surrounded by jungle and mangroves. It’s just a five-minute walk to the famous Palancar Reef, ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. The town of San Miguel is around 20 minutes away by car, offering shops, restaurants, and local culture, while Cancun International Airport is 100km from the hotel.
Facilities
This hotel is situated on the island of Cozumel. Please ensure that the flight you have selected arrives before 17:00 to ensure you have sufficient time to catch the last ferry. If you have booked transfers for your flight home, your flight must depart after 13:00 in the afternoon.
Guests can enjoy six varied restaurants at the resort, including a main buffet and five à la carte venues: La Posada for traditional Mexican dishes, Los Olivos for Mediterranean flavours, Sonora Grill for grilled specialities, a laid-back Beach Club for casual beachfront dining, and a Snack Bar for lighter bites. There are also four bars on site, including a pool bar and a relaxing lobby lounge.
There are three outdoor pools to choose from, including an adults-only pool and a children’s pool. A dive centre is available for guests who want to explore the nearby reef.
