The Views Oasis Hotel enjoys a seafront setting with good views to nearby Deserted Islands Nature Reserve. This hotel will appeal to couples and families looking for comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and relaxing resort.

Location

The Views Oasis Hotel is located on the seafront, next to the beach at Reis Magos and approx 2km from the traditional village of Canico de Baxio. There is a selection of shops and restaurants approx 300-500 metres away and Madeira Wine Cellars is also in walking distance. There is a diving centre nearby and the hotel is approx 13km from the centre of Funchal (to which it runs a regular shuttle). The hotel is approx 11km from Madeira Airport.

Facilities

The Views Oasis Hotel is set in large gardens with direct access to the promenade which runs behind Reis Magos beach.

Leisure facilities and activities at the hotel include an outdoor heated swimming pool, a heated children's pool, a sun terrace with sun loungers and umbrellas, a Spa (local charge) a fitness gym, a games and reading room with cable TV and free internet access, table tennis, billiards, darts, an outdoor children's play area and an indoor children's playroom (parental supervision required). The Spa offers treatments and massages and features an indoor pool, a sauna and a jacuzzi.

Social and dining areas include a buffet restaurant which is open for breakfast and dinner, an A la Carte restaurant for evening meals, a pool-side bar serving drinks and snacks throughout the day and a lounge bar with regular theme nights and live music in the evenings.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception and free WiFi in public areas. There is also car rental and parking, a private bus service into Funchal several times a day, a beauty salon and hairdresser, a wine shop and a gift shop (all with local charges).

Rooms

There are 224 hotel rooms and studios, all with twi beds, a shower room and a balcony or terrace, some of which have sea views. The rooms have satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning; whilst the studios have the added benefit of a kitchenette with a fridge.

For treatments and massages, we will have both the Lomilomi and a special room prepared for guests wanting to have this type of service.
