Although the beach is a mere 500m away the steep incline which Cala Mayor is based makes the walk a lot more laborious so every 20 minutes the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the white sands and resort centre. The quiet resort is only 3km from the bustling city life of Palma where the airport is also located.

Surrounded by fragrant pine trees is the well maintained swimming pool and childrens pool which are complimented by a large sun terrace full of sunbeds for tanning enthusiasts. There is a lounge area and bars which are lively at night when entertainment is provided.

A recent renovation in 2004 ensures that all rooms are well furnished and modern with bathroom, balconies, telephone and air conditioning as standard as well as Satellite TV and a daily maid service.
