The resort is located 13km from Albufeira and 35km from the airport.

Guests can benefit from the resorts 2 swimming pools, children's pool, heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage, volleyball, badminton, basketball and table tennis (all complimentary). There are 3 grass football fields, multipurpose fields with running tracks (4 tracks and 6 tracks for 100 metre sprint), high jumping, discus corner, 2 indoor tennis courts, 13 outdoor tennis courts (7 sand and 6 all weather courts), 1 squash court, fitness room/gym, snooker, mountain bikes, horse riding, a 9 hole golf course (approximately 2.5km away) and 5 18-hole golf courses (approximately 20 km away), all with local charge. There is an entertainment programme during the day and evening in the summer season from April to October.

The hotel offers a boutique, kiosk, hairdressers, minimarket, babysitting (on request, local charge, baby cots, doctor available twice a week or on request. The hotel also offers extensive conference facilities.

The main restaurant, Boavista, is open from 7.30 am to 10 am and from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Caravela is a self service restaurant/ grill that is open from noon to 4 pm (summer season). The Atlantico pool bar is open from 10 am to 1 pm (summer season) and the Beach Bar is open from 10 am to 6 pm (June to September). Lastly, the Havana lobby bar is open daily from 6 pm to midnight.
