Sveti Vlas

Sveti Vlas is a beautiful coastal village approx 5 km north of Sunny Beach and 9 km from Nessebar. This magnificent resort is a great combination of beautiful seaside at the foot of the Balkan mountain range.

Beaches

The south facing golden sands of the beach are relatively uncrowded with shallow waters, edging the same bay as the popular neighbouring resort of Sunny Beach (2km).

Things to Do

The resort has a water sports centre and in the neighbouring resorts of Sunny Beach and Nessebar, you can visit the Sunny Beach Karting Track, the Paintball Centre, the Action Aqua and Animal Park and Aqua Paradise.

Of historic interest the ruins of a number of monasteries can be found surrounding the resort or, combined with architectural beauty, the old town of Nessebar is approx 10km away and can also be reached by water-taxi from the Marina.

Out and About

The beach resort of Sveti Vlas is home to the modern Marina Dinevi and, in July, hosts the annual International Sailing Regatta. Many more national and international cultural events, activities and shows take place at the Arena Amphitheatre.

Nearby Attractions

For a change of scenery you could venture into the countryside, stopping off at the boutique winery and artisan shops at Chateau Medovo (22km), visit the charming hill top village of Bania (20km) which lies above unspoiled beaches or, follow the walking paths through the woodlands of the Kalinata Nature Reserve (9km).
