The hotel is located on the hillside above Funchal and therefore affords magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and resort.

There is a large restaurant, poolside restaurant, ‘Right Corner Pub', lounge bar and Splendor bar.

The accommodation consists of 208 refurbished guestrooms (16 are suites) and all benefit from air conditioning, telephone, private bathroom, cable TV, safety deposit box (local charge) and balcony.

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner all served buffet style (breakfast and dinner served in the main restaurant, lunch at the pool/snack bar). With meals local wine, beer, soft drinks and water are served. There are a variety of hot and cold snacks available from 11 am and 5 pm at the poolside snack bar and from 10 pm to 11 pm at the pub. Afternoon tea with biscuits is available from 10 am to 11 pm. Unlimited scooped ice cream is offered from 11 am and 5 pm. Unlimited locally produced alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, bottled mineral water, coffee, tea etc are served from 11 am to 11 pm (poolside bar 11 am to 5 pm, lounge bar 4 pm to 11 pm).

The All Inclusive sport facilities at the hotel include a day and evening entertainment programme six times a week (darts, volleyball, French bowls, dancing, live music, weekly magic show, weekly folklore, cabaret). Guests can enjoy tennis (refundable deposit for racquets/balls) twice per person per week, table tennis, sauna twice a week, gym, weekly theme night (rotation of Portuguese and Tropical) and free bus service to the centre of Funchal six days a week / six times a day.
