It is a fairly quiet, relaxed resort, retaining much of its original charm without the brashness which now characterises some of Spain's biggest coastal resorts. Aquabrava claims to be the most entertaining and complete water park on the Costa Brava. Free buses run frequently to and from Placa Catalunya in Roses. There are many modes of transport to enable holiday makes to explore the rest of the resort and further.
