The Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro Hotel offers a commercial and entertainment village at the entrance of the hotel area. This offers daily entertainment with live music and a variety of shows. There is a disco, piano bar, karaoke, sports bar, internet café and casino. There are also handicraft, clothes, gift, music, photography and jewellery shops and a medical service.

There are 1536 guestrooms located across 47 blocks. There are 540 junior suites with oval jacuzzi bath. All rooms benefit from either twin or king size beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, private bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box (local charge), mini bar, coffeemaker and balcony or terrace. The hotel provides specially adapted rooms with facilities for disabled guests (on request).

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner all served buffet style in the main restaurant. With meals all national drinks are offered. There are six a la carte restaurants (Japanese, Italian, Mexican, French, Garden Grill and seafood) at the disposal of guests (three dinners per week of stay). Snacks (hot dogs, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, French fries etc) are available at the snack bar Las Olas I and II by the beach from 10 am to 6 pm, at snack bar Picsis by the pool from 10 am to 10 pm and at the burger house in Pueblo Principe from 11 pm to 7 am. The All Inclusive drinks programme include all national drinks and some international ones (JB, Johnny Walker Red Label, Dewars and Normandy) and they are served at the bar (11 am to 11 pm), the Piano Bar Karaoke (11 am to 2.30 am) and at the Disco. In the guestrooms, guests mini bars are filled with soft drinks, water and beer.

The All Inclusive sport facilities at the hotel include non motorised sports (windsurfing, tennis, catamaran, kayaks, boogie boards, pedaloes, snorkelling), aerobics lessons and towel service at the pool and beach. There is a full entertainment programme that includes daytime beach and pool games and organised activities, theatre in the evening, children's show, mini club and two different shows for adults.

Catamaran tours, boat and fishing excursions, diving school (PADI), motorised watersports (water skiing, jet skiing, banana boats), baby sitting, beauty care and massage at the Bahia Spa, laundry and medical service.
