Fun Royale & Tropicale Beach Resort Hotel

The Fun Royale & Tropicale Beach Resort Hotel offers three pools, a daily activity programme with activities such as aerobics, volleyball, etc by the pool and beach performed in several languages. Guests can enjoy a scuba diving demonstration in the pool. There are two flood lit tennis courts, exercise room, table tennis, mini soccer and horse riding and non motorised water sports (windsurfing, snorkelling, sailing, banana boats and kayaks).

The hotel offers the Little Village Club that is an activities programme for children and there is a playground area under adult supervision (ages 4 to 12 years) and mini golf open from 9 am to 6 pm. In the evening, the hotel offers entertainment that features both local and staff shows. The hotel operates a free daily shuttle service to and from the beach between the hours of 8.30 am and 5 pm.

Further facilities include babysitting service, exchange bank, laundry, mini market, medical services (24hrs) and beauty centre. Some facilities may incur a local charge.

The Fun Royale consists of 168 superior guest rooms with a king size or two queen size beds (some rooms have an additional sofa bed). All benefit from individually controlled air conditioning, cable television, safety deposit box (local charge), private bathroom and most guest rooms have a balcony.

The Tropicale hotel offers 184 standard rooms. All rooms have one queen or two or three twin beds and most rooms feature a sofa bed in the living room. All rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning, balcony or terrace, color cable television, with country, garden or golf course view and private bathroom with tub and shower. Cribs available upon request.

The hotel is located 650 metres from the golden beaches of Playa Dorada and 10 minutes from Puerto Plata town. The hotel is located 15 km from the airport.

The All Inclusive information is a guide only and is subject to change and/or availability.

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast, continental breakfast, lunch and dinner all served buffet style in the main restaurant. With meals wine is served. There are two speciality dinner restaurants available with reservation, which are the a la carte Il Mediterreaneo Italian restaurant and the Miranda Brazilian restaurant. Snacks are available from noon to 3 pm in the Beach Club and midnight snacks are available at the disco between 11.30 pm to 6.30 am. Afternoon tea is available form 4 pm to 5 pm.

Unlimited alcohol drinks, natural juices and soft drinks are served at the Beach Club bar, Sultan Bar, Popeye's pool bar, Banana's bar and at the disco at various hours from 10 am to 2 am. Popeye's pizza is open from noon to 5 pm and there is a welcome cocktail and manager's cocktail party available weekly.
