The hotel is located on the beachfront on the south east edge of the island, bordering the Eastern National Park which is home to places of archaeological interest such as caves. The village of Altos de Chavon and the International Airport are both less than 30 minutes away.

Facilities at the hotel include 4 restaurants, snack bar, 6 bars, disco, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage (local charge), hair salon, shops, boutiques, daytime entertainment icluding archery, diving and Spanish lessons, evening entertainment including disco and live shows and children's club for 4 to 12 year olds.
