Colonia Santa Maria Hotel is set in 4 acres of tropical gardens which lead directly to Baga Beach. The swimming pool has a separate section for children and is surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers, facing the sea. There is also an Ayurveda health centre offering various therapeutic massages.

The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, including Goan specialities and occassional barbecues. There is also a bar with regular evening entertainment.
