The facilities available at the hotel include a large swimming pool which is an ideal area for relaxation and sun, and for those who want a bit more action there is tennis, boat excursions, a night club, bar that opens until 2am, table tennis and snooker. The Souno Coffee Shop at the hotel is open 24 hours a day serving drinks and snacks.

The main Restaurant Nefertiti is open daily for dinner, and features a menu of mainly French cuisine. Other services include private parking, baby sitting on request, concierge, dry cleaning, currency exchange, and a newsagent. Some facilities may incur a local charge.

The comfortably appointed guest rooms at the Hotel New Cataract Aswan all feature air conditioning, mini-bar, radio, satellite TV, telephone, and en suite bathroom. Safe deposit boxes are available from reception and are charged locally. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

The location is an ideal base from which to explore the area, being approx only 300m from the "Nubian" Museum and approx 3km from the historical monument "Noble Tombs".
