The hotel is located 10 km from the city and 15 km from the airport.

The facilities available at the hotel include a personal sandy and spacious beach with towels and lounges. There are 2 large fresh water swimming pools joined with a 230m long river like pool, there is also a children's pool which is separate. Also, there is a children's recreation centre, where the children animators are always on hand to keep children entertained, volleyball, football, bocce, camel riding, darts, water polo, gymnastic and an aerobic area. The hotel also offers car rental services, currency exchange, safe deposit boxes and laundry facilities. Some facilities may incur a local charge.

The hotel consists of the main building with 109 rooms and bungalows with 188 rooms. The family rooms are located in the main building and are big enough to accommodate 4 adults with one child. The double room for single use is one room that can accommodate one adult with one or two children. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, satellite TV, air condition, telephone and fridge.

The AI programme consists of breakfast 7am-10am, late breakfast 10am-11am, lunch 12:30am-14:30am and dinner 18:30am-21:30am, all served buffet style. Breakfast & dinner are available at the Karnak restaurant; late breakfast & lunch (snacks) at the beach bar. During meals soft drinks, beer & wine, coffee & tea are offered. Dinner is also served at the Tam Tam restaurant (Oriental cuisine, 18:30-22:00) or the El Nile (Italian cuisine, 18:30-22:00). Reservation required for both, a day in advance, at reception.

Children's meals are available at Calimerini restaurant from 17:30-18:00. Coffee break with cakes is between 15:00 & 17:00 at the beach bar. Late light snacks are offered from 23:00-24:00 at the lobby. A variety of local alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are available at the pool bar Aswan (10:0018:00), beach bar/restaurant (10:00-24:00), lobby bar Abelique (10:00-24:00) and at disco King Tut (23:00-24:00).
