Sol by Melia Cosmopolitan Rhodes is an all inclusive beach hotel, offering friendly Greek hospitality and good quality food. It has a light entertainment programme, kids club, a spacious pool area and simple leisure facilities.

Location

Sol by Melia Cosmopolitan Rhodes is located across the road from the beach in the Trianta Bay on the coast of Ixia. There are water sports at the beach (such as surfing and kiting) and shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. The medieval town of Rhodes is approx 3km away and Mandraki port is approx 5km. The hotel is approx 11km from Rhodes Airport.

Facilities

The hotel is set in landscaped gardens with a spacious pool area overlooking Trianta Bay. Within the gardens there are 2 outdoor swimming pool, a pool for children, a sun terrace, loungers and umbrellas.

Further leisure facilities ad activities include massage treatments (local charge), French bowls, table tennis and billiards, darts, water polo, aerobics and aqua aerobics, a children's playground, a TV lounge and a games room with electronic games.

The animation team organise a light daytime and evening entertainment programme of games, shows, live music and competitions as well as mini club and disco for children aged 4-12.

Social and dining venues include a restaurant, a taverna, a lounge bar and a pool-side snack bar. The main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers buffet service with show cooking whilst the Taverna offers a menu of fresh Greek dishes.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, a luggage room, car parking spaces, cot hire, high chairs and pool towels (against deposit). There is also WiFi, an internet corner, currency exchange, car hire, laundry services, an on-call doctor and babysitting (all with local charges).

Rooms

There are 377 hotel rooms providing modern and comfortable accommodation comprising Double rooms and Family Rooms. Rooms are available with views to the pool, the gardens or the Aegean Sea.

The double rooms sleep up to 3 adults and are furnished with a double/twin beds and a sofa bed.

The family rooms are available as open plan or with a sliding door between the main sleeping area and the living/sleeping area. The sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children and are furnished with a double/twin bed and either a double sofa bed or bunk bed.
