Facilities

IFA Villas Bavaro Beach Resort is set in extensive lawned gardes which open onto the beach and frame a large lake style swimming pool.

Further leisure facilities and activities at the hotel include scuba diving and snorkeling, windsurfing and body boards, catamarans, kayaks and pedalos, a Spa, tennis, badminton, aerobics, a fitness gym, table tennis and a kids club for children.

Social and dining venues include 2 buffet restaurants, a beach grill, a pizzeria, 4 a la carte restaurants, a terrace bar, a pool-side bar, a lounge bar and coffee shop, a jacuzzi bar and the theatre bar where evening shows and entertainment are hosted. The buffet restaurants offers a wide variety of international dishes ad are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach grill is located at the beach club and is open for lunch and dinner. The a la carte restaurants open for dinner and include a gourmet restaurant, an Oriental house, a Mexican and an Italian (all require reservation).

Dress code: Except for the beach grill, entrance is not permitted in any restaurants in bathing suits or bare feet. The A la Carte restaurants require men to wear long trousers and shirts.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, currency exchange, bell boys and a luggage room, gift shops, a pharmacy and a mini market. There is also baby sitting, laundry services, medical assistance, car hire, excursions and an internet centre (all with local charges).

Rooms

There are 652 hotel rooms, graded as standard and deluxe double rooms, located in several buildings throughout the gardens.

The 262 standard rooms feature 1 king size bed or 2 queen size beds, cable TV, a fridge, a hair dryer, a telephone, a safe (local charge) and air conditioning. The 390 deluxe double rooms have the added benefit of a French balcony and a coffee machine.

All-inclusive package includes:

Breakfast, lunch and dinner all buffet style in the two buffet restaurants. Lunch can be taken in the pizzeria and dinner at one of the 5 a la carte restaurants within the resort.

Snack bar 1200-0200 hours, beach bar 1200-1800 hours.

Locally produced alcohol and non alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, hot drinks, beer, wine, local spirits daily 0800-0100 hours.

Sports activities are included - Tennis (daytime), volleyball, basketball, aerobics, kayaking, snorkelling, windsurfing (standard boards), sailing on sunfish boats, darts, board games and fitness centre.
