Beaches

Malaga beaches offer excellent facilities such as sun loungers for hire, water sports and children's play areas, conveniently backed by numerous shops, bars and restaurants for those beach essentials and refreshments. One of the most popular beaches is Playa de las Acacias which can get fairly crowded in the summer months, for a quieter spot head along the coast towards Benalmadena where there are smaller more secluded bays perfect for a day of relaxing in the sunshine.

Things to do

There is so much to see and do in and around Malaga. An absolute must when visiting Malaga is the Picasso Museum. The museum has a collection of over 200 fantastic pieces of the famous artists work on display. Other places on the to do list should definitely be the Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfaro, two of the most famous landmarks in Malaga which sit on top of a hill overlooking the city. The city has numerous well maintained and landscaped parks and gardens which are ideal for a leisurely afternoon stroll.

Malaga has a wealth of historic buildings, architecture and culture to explore. During the summer various cultural and musical festivals take place, be sure to check out what's going on when staying here.

Out and about

Malaga offers a fantastic array of restaurants from small traditional Spanish restaurants and tapas bars to fast food restaurants and those offering international cuisines. The main city centre has plenty of choice plus there is a wide range to choose from along the seafront. Malaga has a vibrant nightlife with a variety of bars and nightclubs open til the early hours.

Nearby attractions

Malaga is just a short drive from Costa del Sol's favourite tourist resorts which offer a wide range of entertainment venues, activities and fun. Why not head to Fuengirola to the amazing zoo or maybe have a fun family day out at the regions biggest water park in Torremolinos.
