Venezuela

Cheap Holidays to Venezuela

A country of striking natural beauty, which ranges from the snow-capped Andean peaks in the west, through the Amazonian jungles in the south, to the beaches of the north, Venezuela is among the most highly urbanised countries in Latin America.

A must see is the impressive Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world and it is also possible to take a safari through the tropical plains and grasslands in search of pumas and jaguars, well worth taking a trip to Venezuela to see all of it's delights.

How Hot?

Venezuela has a tropical climate, with year round hot and, during the rainy season, humid weather.

Typically the rainy season runs from April to September, with rain showers generally occurring in the afternoon and rarely lasting for more than an hour. Temperatures vary depending on altitude, cooler in the Andes and Guyana plateau, and hot year-round in the lowlands.

During the rainy season the Andes should be avoided, however this is the best time to visit Angel Falls due to the higher water levels and greater volume coming down the waterfall. The north and the Caribbean islands are year round destinations
