Overview

The famous setting of the TV comedy Benidorm, these two sister hotels stand side by side and offer family entertainment for all ages, as well as a great spot for a couples getaway.

Location

Sol Pelicanos Ocas Hotel is just 300m from the promenade and Levante Beach with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars in the immediate area. There are bus stops and taxi stands nearby, and the old town of Benidorm is about a 20-25 minute walk away. Aqualandia waterpark is 2km away, Terra Mitica theme park is 6km away and Alicante Airport is 60km from the hotel.

Facilities

Please note that the hotel does not accept stag or hen parties, or group bookings. Bookings of 10 rooms or more will be treated as a group booking and therefore not accepted.

Please note that the lake pool will be open from 8th March and Snack Bar Pelicanos will be open from 11th March.

The Sol Pelicanos Ocas Hotel has a lagoon-style swimming pool with three hot tubs and a swim-up bar, surrounded by palm-lined sun terraces with loungers and parasols. There is a further outdoor swimming pool located at each building with poolside bars serving drinks and snacks and two pools for children.

In addition to the poolside bars, the complex has a buffet restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals and two lounge bars serving drinks and snacks (one for each building). Guests should dine at the hotel they are allocated.

Further leisure facilities and activities available at the hotel include a children's playground, pool-based watersports, archery, pool and table tennis tables, workshops, cultural activities and aerobics sessions. Seasonal evening entertainment throughout the week generally includes shows and theme nights.

The hotel offers a special entertainment programme for children, hosted by a team of ‘Navigators’. Supervised fun is provided at the different kids clubs - Explorers (ages 5-7) and Rangers (ages 8-10).

Amenities and services available to guests include a gift shop, 24-hour multi-lingual reception, currency exchange, high chairs in restaurant, a luggage room, lift access to upper floors and car parking spaces. There is also a laundry service, medical assistance, Wi-Fi and wired internet (all with local charge).

Please note: mobility scooters are not permitted for use anywhere within the hotel. A limited number of parking spaces for scooters are available outside the hotel for guests who are registered disabled, however spaces cannot be guaranteed and proof of the disability must be provided upon arrival.

Rooms

On arrival, guests are allocated to either hotel and can use the facilities of both (excluding restaurants). Sol Pelicanos Ocas Hotel offers rooms that feature a direct-dial telephone, satellite TV (news and sports), safety deposit box (local charge) centrally-controlled air conditioning (July to September only), heating and a mini fridge (local charge). Cots are available free on request.
