Very clean, good facilities but had to pay for everything on top such as gym, indoor pool and tennis etc, also had to pay for fridge and safe. Pool good but everyone placing towels down on loungers early in the morning then going back to room so couldn't get a bed even though rules state that this wasn't allowed. Food was okay, some days better than others, but breakfast wasn't the best. Rooms were modern and and nice. Overall good hotel and would stay again just a few small issues.

Great location, no problem with sunbeds, very clean, food was great. Went for half board but had the option to swap lunch for dinner as so many great restaurants in Salou to try out.

Hotel is clean. However rooms could do with a deep clean! Pools were clean and family friendly. Pool bar food was excellent, restaurant food lacked, was basic. Not a lot of choice. Nor was there enough fresh fruit in the mornings.

All inclusive was exactly that! Bottled water, branded ice cream and ice lollies included plus crisps etc. Perfect for the kids! Fridge was locked and a deposit was required however the irons were free. Didn't make sense. Safes were a good size and price.

Location: 10 minute walk to beach. 5 minute taxi to the theme park/water park. 5 minute walk into town.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff appeared moody and didn't interact well with guests. On a whole a cracking little find, especially for families. Pools, footie pitch, mini golf, good location, decent food!

We have been here for the past five years and the fourth time booking with Sunshine so that immediately says we quite like the Hotel and the Service. Note we go half board and go out for most of our days to Portaventura, the water parks, beach etc. and only "hang about" about 3 full days of our stay at the hotel. There are little niggles for sure but you would get these everywhere. No. 1 is the sunbed situation. Give credit to the Hotel, this year they have locked the door to access the pool area before 8:00. Now Breakfast is at 8:00 but there was a major queue to "book" your sunbed and you would think that now they are up that they would go to breakfast but No. So do you force the Hotel to remove towels after 30 mins. You can imagine the rows that would ensure. So the Hotel obtained extra sunbeds, but now every inch of the area is now covered. It would seem that the majority of guests are all inclusive so in the main they never leave the hotel and this causes the issue. But even on the one day that it rained the sunbeds were still booked by towels and no one was out. So who is to blame? The staff are fine and friendly however they are on edge as it would seem that guests seem to moan about things a lot but a smile goes a long way. Don't forget you are on Holiday and relatively speaking it is cheap, you can imagine what the staff earn. I spoke to a taxi driver and it was their 82nd straight 12 hour day. They said that they work from April to about October and then the place basically closes so they have to earn enough during the summer to cover for the rest of the year until the season start again. But we are on holiday so who cares!! Inflatables in the pool what is it with these. There were two sharks which were enormous. let alone the pseudo innertubes that could come off Monster Trucks. Once again who is to blame. Food is good, lots of choice. However as we from the UK have a tendency to queue, this caused some tailbacks in the Dining area especially earlier in the sitting. They used to separate the "Children's food" ie chips, pizza, nuggets from the "adult" menu but this year they put these all together and this in the main caused the issue. But the Hotel gained space to increase the seating in the Dining Area. However this seems to be a seasonal issue and we went at the tail of the summer holidays and in the second week these queues virtually disappeared. All in all, almost home from home, like fitting on comfortable shoes, The Children's entertainment is good, by now we know all the songs and the man in charge Danni is adored by all the kids and he does a brilliant job with the adults. Rooms, cleaned everyday and fresh towels etc, which in the main is what you want. There are three of us, 2 adults and a nine year old, so we have a room with a double/twin beds and the sofa turned down for our child. We leave the sofa bed down all day, reduces floor area but so what! Anyway are we are going next year? A resounding yes.

Hotel was lovely and great location. Nice and quiet. Just out of the centre but walking distance to beach and PortAventura parks. Pool was nice and big. Had to be down at the pool for 8am to get a sunbed. Need own towels. Food was good - good choice and standard. Rooms were fine but cleaners could clean them better and change the sheets. Didn't think you should have to pay for the fridge. Enjoyed the mini golf - small charge and lots to keep families entered ie table tennis, pool, video arcade, hiring bikes etc. Staff were friendly especially reception staff. Family friendly.

This hotel reminded me of lovely Spanish family hotels in the 70's and 80's.
Just returned from a week here. Lovely hotel, nothing too much trouble for staff. Loved the indoor pool area (small charge but worth it for sauna, steam room and jacuzzi). Food was buffet style with plenty of choice. We were on half board and staff were perfectly happy to exchange dinner to lunch. Outdoor areas very well maintained.
Location was perfect for us who were in Salou for WRC, pleasant easy 10 min walk to seafront or Portaventura. We had a hire car for the whole holiday and had no problem with on street parking everyday even though hotel/resort were busy for sporting events on in town.

Rooms cleaned every day. We went in high season so you had to go down every morning at 8am to reserve a sun lounger. The indoor spa/gym is not included in price you have to pay 6 euros a day per person to use and if you want use of fridge in your room that was 2 euros per day. Friendly staff, very helpful, good location 10 min walk to beach and main strip. We didn't stay for evening entertainment as geared more for young children and ours are teenagers so we preferred to venture out we stayed b and b only, plenty of choice for breakfast but can't comment on evening meals as we prefer to lots of choices of places to eat rather than be restricted to one restaurant. Would come here again and certainly recommend.
