Overview

Malama Holiday Village comprises one and two bedroom suites, set in 26 acres of landscaped gardens overlooking the beach. The complex has extensive sports and leisure facilities including a diving school, spa and an atmospheric indoor pool.

Location

Malama Holiday Village is located next to the beach in a sandy cove in the unspoilt area of Protaras. There are numerous shops, bars, restaurants and nightly entertainment nearby or the resort centre of Protaras is approx 5km away. Protaras Aquarium is 15 minutes walk (approx 1.2km) and Water World Aqua Park in Ayia Napa is approx 15km away. There is a string of small beaches along the coast or you have the long main beach in the centre of Protaras.The hotel is approx 66km from Larnaca Airport.

Facilities

Malama Holiday Village has a large outdoor swimming pool with water jets and a paddling pool for children surrounded by sun terraces and gardens which led down to the beach.

Further leisure facilities and activities include an indoor pool set in a cave, a diving school, a Spa, 2 floodlit tennis courts, beach volleyball, a squash court, a fitness gym, a jogging track, french boules, table tennis tables, archery, a children's playground, a children's playroom (for the mini club), a children's sand pit and a games room with pool tables, darts and electronic games.

The Spa features a sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi and massage treatment room. The Spa offers a menu of massages, therapies and beauty treatments (local charges). The animation team organise activities during the day for adults and a mini club for children aged 4-12. In the evenings there are regular theme nights and barbecues.

Social and dining venues include a 2 restaurants and a bistro bar. The main restaurant offers buffets at breakfast and lunch and, for evening meal there is a choice of the themed buffet or A la Carte as well as a buffet for children. The pool-side restaurant offers lunches and snacks.

Amenities and services include 24 hour reception, an internet corner, currency exchange, luggage storage, excursion bookings (such as boat trips), baby cots, high chairs and free car parking spaces. There is also a mini market, gift shop, launderette, laundry service, car hire, bike hire, baby sitting, doctor on call and WiFi throughout (all with local charges).

Rooms

Accommodation comprises a total of 166 suites with one or two bedrooms, most of which have views to the sea or the pool.

One bedroom suites (sleep 2-4 guests) have a double bedroom, an open plan lounge-diner-kitchenette, a bathroom and a balcony or terrace. The two bedroom suites (sleep 4-6 guests) have the added benefit of a second en-suite bedroom.

All suites feature WiFi (local charge), satellite TV, a hair dryer, a telephone, a safe deposit box, a ceiling fan and air conditioning.
