Lihue is the second largest town on the island of Kauai. It is home to the primary airport of Kauai. The resort has the beautiful Kalapaki Beach, Kauai Lagoons and 2 18-hole golf courses. There are approx 40 acres of freshwater lagoons and a wildlife sanctuary. Lihue is also home to the main seaport for Kauai.

Within the Lihue area are many historical sites to visit. Just North of Lihue is the Wailua Falls with its amazing waterfalls views and just past Lihue is Kilohana a historic plantation estate.

For those who like shopping there is the Kukui Grove Shopping Centre which is the islands shopping centre.
