|D'Andrea Mare Beach Hotel|
|Double Or Twin - Sea View|
This hotel is on the outskirts of lalyssos. Shop wise within walking distance a small supermarket/ gift type shop at the end of the road. A pet food shop, chemist, a patisserie, a type of TK Maxx clothes shop a bit further away - 10 minutes walk. Stony beach where you apparently need beach shoes to go in the water. Kite surfing. Get a taxi into Rhodes town for shopping, think it was 18€ one way. Lots of young pushy kids with accordions begging in the square, very persistent, you have to wave them away as they follow and touch you trying to get your attention.

Everything nearby and plenty to see and do, excellent eating and drinking establishments and good location to get to other parts of the island, very good bus network but a little unpredictable with some later evening journeys.

The main beach of Iaslissos is a mix of sand and pebble and stretches for a couple of miles. Watersports, including scuba diving, is also available at the beach.
Out and About
Ialissos has a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants which should suit all tastes and ages and there are many hotels dotted along the beach. Apart from the watersports available at the beach there is also mountain biking and horseriding for those seeking more active pursuits.
There are several historical sites close to the resort including the hilltop monastery at Filerimos and the valley of the butterflies. A trip to Rhodes Town with its Old Town charm and choice of shops is also a must for all daytrippers.
Rhodes Airport is approximately 9km away - transfer time approx. 20 minutes.
