Beaches

Set in Gulluk Bay, there is a string of coves and beaches in and around the resort. The warm, crystal clear waters are ideal for swimming and there are plentiful opportunities for water sports such as sailing, snorkelling and diving, windsurfing and water skiing.

Things to Do

Spend a day on one of the boat trips from the harbour and discover hidden coves and secluded beaches or take the ferry into Bodrum and explore the city.

Take a stroll into the countryside; the town is surrounded by wooded hills with fabulous views over the bay. A little south of the resort is the village of Bogazici, the Tuzla wetlands and bird sanctuary and the Vita Park Golf Resort, which has two 18 hole golf courses set in beautiful landscaping.

Out and About

There are shops, supermarkets and banking facilities in the town centre with plenty of bars and restaurants along the waterfront and around the harbour area. You can choose from Turkish as well as International menus and, of course the fresh fish, caught daily, makes for a popular choice.

Gulluk market is held on Thursdays and stalls range from fresh produce to local handicrafts.

Nearby Attractions

Bodrum is approx 42km away and easily accessible via the local bus service or ferry. Here you will find everything from shopping to nightlife and the exclusive modern marina to the historic castle and archaeological sites.

The local bus service also runs regularly into the working town of Milas (24km) and here the local market is held on a Tuesday.

Across the bay from Gulluk, at Kiyikislacik, lies the ruins of the ancient city of Iasos which dates back to 9BC. Here you can stroll amid the remains of the agora and Corinthian columns and see some of the findings displayed in the Iasos Museum.
