Beaches

The resort offers a beautiful beach with soft sand which gently shelves into the clear blue sea. The waters edge is shallow and warm which makes it especially ideal for young children to splash about in. The beach is accessible via a number of steep stone steps but definitely worth the effort.

There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for hire and there is also a beach bar for drinks and lunch should you wish. There are no watersports here but there is a good variety in the nearby Cala'n Porter or Son Bou.

Things to Do

Other than a trip to the beach, there is not an awful lot to do in the resort. Perhaps for the more experienced diver, there is the Necropolis burial caves that are cut into the coastline at Es Canutell.

Out and About

There are only 2 bars/restaurant in the resort, one at the beach and one next to the only hotel in the resort. As there is not much in the way of bars etc the nightlife is pretty quiet and you may wish to venture into the nearby Mahon for a variety of bars and clubs.

There is a handful of shops but they are mainly aimed at the local residents rather than the tourists but you should find the basics.

Nearby Attractions

There are a couple of water parks nearby which provide a great days entertainment for all the family. The water park in Cala'n Bosch also has a go kart track and a trampoline so plenty to do for everyone.

A popular activity in this area is to take a boat trip. A boat trip is a great way to see the many other resorts and the beautiful coves that can only be reached by boat. Glass bottomed boats are also a great way to see the marine life or if you prefer to get up close, there are plenty of opportunities for diving.

If you enjoy water sports, there are plenty available in the surrounding area such as jet skiing, surfing, water skiing and the hire of canoes and pedalos.

Mahon, the capital is approx 10 minutes drive away and is full of interesting things to see such as a 17th century fortress, museum and various Gothic buildings. There is also a great selection of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether you are looking for a bargain or fancy browsing round the clothes boutiques, you will find it all here in Mahon.
