The village is built amphitheatric-like on the hills around the shoreline where there are many cafes and traditional tavernas as well as some gift shops. Many hotels are positioned high on the hillside and this can sometimes be a quite steep walk down to the beachfront. Nightlife here is very low-key and would not be suitable for those looking for lively bars and clubs.Read more about: Beaches | Nearby Attractions | Quick Facts | Aghia Pelagia Reviews

We were a 9 euro taxi ride from the main Aghia Pelagia resort and did not feel it was any better than the local beach which was serviced by a free shuttle bus from the Hotel. We were pleased we were not actually staying in the main resort, but that is because we are not that keen on crowds and like our own space.

What a lovely place, on the flat with all restaurants/bars around the bay, beach narrow but had shower on and plenty of sunbeds but need to get there early in the morning especially at weekend, no problem for people with walking difficulties.

Beach is very poor, made up of what looks like dirty sand and rocks. There are two bars and a supermarket. Other then that you will need a car to get around.
