A lovely little town with plenty of bars and tavernas. The walk to Roda down the coast is recommended. It is not rowdy or loud and has enough different places to visit, makes for a perfect balance. I would recommend the town and will be returning at some point in the future. The beach is a mix of shingle and sand and has a gentle slope out to the sea.

Acharavi is a lovely Greek Village not a purpose built resort so if you are looking for English bars and nightlife this is not the place for you. I loved it, a good selection of Greek Tavernas selling Greek food at very good prices, several supermarkets and plenty of gift shops. The beach is delightful with plenty of Tavernas with sunbeds at 4 euros for 2 including umbrella, very clear water and shallow for a long way out, sand and pebbles so beach shoes are needed. The local bus service is very good and cheap. The trips out to Corfu town at 8 euros were very good value, also boat trips were available. I took the local bus to Kassiopi and Sidari and Roda was a nice stroll along the beach road.

I can honestly say Archaravi is brilliant comprising a long strip of shops and bars with 9 roads off that lead to a long narrow pebble beach. Sea is shallow with sandy floor. Most bars charge a flat 4 or 5 euro for 2 beds and a brolly refundable upon purchase of drink or meal. You can walk along the front to Roda.

Alex Beach Bar does good food and has friendly waitresses, Kormagant Bar and 12 Gods are nice bars for an evening drink and watch the sun go down.
Excellent shops and bars along the main road and an excellent fruit and veg and bakery at the top of Beach Road 5. The Sports Bar on the corner is nice for an evening drink. Most bars do beer, cocktails and spirits at extremely reasonable prices and provide a small plate of nibbles. Loads of places to eat and drink across the main drag and shore line. Book a trip to Corfu Town by boat at 19,50 euro per head from Travel Agents and see a different view including Albanian shoreline. You will get 4 hours in the Town until the shops close early afternoon and its well worth seeing.

Corfiots are warm and welcoming and the whole resort has a real chilled out vibe. Both my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay.

Busy and cosmopolitan town, more Greek than neighbouring resorts with more than enough places to eat for us over a 2 week break. We ate out every day, at least lunch and evening meal, occasionally breakfast too and averaged out 100 euros a day for a family of four.

This was a very touristy area which was not really to our liking although I couldn't fault the friendliness of everyone. We did feel we could have been anywhere, I don't think this area really reflects the 'real Greece'.

Beautiful setting, not too quiet, not too busy, perfect for families and couples alike, lovely authentic tavernas, not too expensive. Sea so warm and clean, you'll need your sand shoes and snorkelling equipment. Lots of activities nearby, small water park near the resort, plenty of bus stops along the main road to venture out, cheap car hire.

Quite a quiet resort mainly focused around the bars and restaurants on the beach with a few more in town. Walked to Roda every other night along beach or road, pleasant 20-25 mins away or 10 Euro in a taxi.

Lovely quiet resort. Shingle beach with occasional bits of sand. Numerous restaurants and we never had a poor meal. If you want somewhere lively with a lot of attractions then this is not for you, but if you want somewhere quiet where you can relax by a pool or on beach and get qualify food, then this resort is ideal.

Love Acharvi - it's quiet Not too commercialised. Lovely tavernas along the beach front were you can watch the sun go down. So friendly and peaceful. Roda is a nice little walk away along the front were you get the more English/Irish bars etc.

The beach is not the best. A bit rocky but clean with a good choice of bars and restaurants most of which provide free sun loungers for patrons. The centre of the village has a good range of shops including two large supermarkets and lots of bars and restaurants. The resort is mainly flat. Nearby Roda is within a 30 minute walk along a flat promenade by the beach. Public transport is not the best but there is a good choice of reasonably priced excursions.

Acharavi is excellent as a resort, it is quiet but varied and so much to choose from. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, Ginger, Fuegos and the Pumphouse are definite favourites - Ginger serve amazing food at reasonable prices and the cocktails are to die for! Fuegos and Vegerra are beautiful beach bars, chill out during the day and livens up in the evening, watch the sunsets, walk on the clean sandy beach or swim in the clear shallows. Acharavi has something for everyone! The pumphouse serves authentic traditional Greek food, fabulous tasty dishes, breads and drinks at very reasonable prices.
As for shopping, Acharavi have fantastic shops to suit everyone's needs; the jewellery cabin next to the lemon garden have gorgeous handmade items and the loveliest staff. Overall Acharavi is one of our favourite resorts which we have visited many times and will continue to do so.

Acharavi is smaller than we expected but is a good base to explore the island. There are a few restaurants which offer good food, however we found better food and environment in Kassiopi and other locations along the coast. You definitely would be bored here if you didn't have your own transport as you've pretty much covered it all in a day, however we enjoyed it as a base. Supermarkets were well priced and there are plenty of local cats to fuss when walking around!

Plenty of restaurants to choose from but having been to Acharivi before we ate in Acharivi Park restaurant each night. Good food, reasonable prices with good atmosphere. Three good sized supermarkets to choose from with three or four pharmacy's dotted along the main street. Also a couple of ATM's.
Acharavi is a beautiful and very clean resort. One word of warning - mosquito's, and lots of them. Make sure you have strong repellent on, even if like my husband and daughter you don't normally get bitten, you will.

But that aside, the resort is lovely, the beautiful colours of Greek flora and fauna are abundant. The bars and cafe's are fairly quiet, (lots of people are in AI's) but everything you might want or need is there. The local's are lovely and friendly and very helpful. You have to visit the Pumphouse for a meal, the food is excellent and the Stifado is to die for! I also have to mention the Orpheus bar, Lakis and his family are lovely, great service, and the food is good too.

I don't really do beaches, but we had a few strolls along it, its mainly pebble's so I'd recommend keeping the flipflops on; the breeze is most welcome though. We found everything in resort was reasonably priced, and what we would expect to pay. So if its a relaxing, stress free holiday you're looking for, Acharavi is it.

The beach is really enjoyable, very long with this marvelous green and blue colour. Night life is for all tastes. Food is not very good, too touristic for the Greek standards. Nice shops with interesting stuff to buy. The best part is the landscape if you drive or walk up towards the old part of the village, excellent views to the sea
