Before life at sunshine I worked in travel for 15 years with Thomson, Co-operative Travel and Thomas Cook. I took a little time out and worked for a recruitment company and at an estate agents but realised my heart was back in travel.

I enjoy working along side my colleagues and strive to give great customer service.

Having visited many countries in my time I think Malta is up with one of my favourites islands for the culture, the friendly people and the warm Mediterranean climate.

What do you do at weekends?
Family time, housework and dog walking, with the occasional nights out with friends.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
Hotel receptionist - I was under the illusion I would get to meet lots of famous people, however I didn't expect many visitors in Newcastle.

What's your brew?
Tea, very weak, dip in and out, one sweetener.

That's a nice job title, what do you actually do?
Answer calls and emails from customers to help them complete bookings,deal with requests, any in resort issues and liaise with our suppliers. Every day brings a new challenge.
