Sunny Beach

Sunny Beach resort is situated 42 km north of Bourgas. The resort offers more than 120 hotels and two camping sites, and is rich in entertainment facilities.

Beaches

This large blue flag beach resort is dominated by a 10km stretch of fine golden sands which line the bay. The beach is backed by a promenade and there is an endless array of water-sports and beach activities available; beach volleyball and bungee jumping, para-gliding and pedaloes, surfing and jet-skiing.

Things to Do

For the competitive, a popular attraction at the resort is the Sunny Beach Karting Track and Paintball Centre.

For family friendly fun visit the Action Aquapark and Mini Zoo. If you enjoy the water park there is another one, Paradise AquaPark, just outside the resort, in Nessebar.

Out and About

For a change of scenery, visit the unspoiled beach and nature reserve and of Irakli (9km) and follow the walking route to the ruins of the Emona fortress and the lighthouse on the headland of Cape Emine.

Historic attractions can be found at the old town of Nessebar (3km) which boasts beautiful architecture and ancient walls as well as heritage museums and thermal baths.

Nearby Attractions

The neighbouring beach resort of Sveti Vlas (4km) has a large modern marina or, for a quieter beach, you could visit the village of Ravda (8km) or Elenite (9km).
