The hotel can be found practically in the centre of town where guests can find a variety of shops, cafés, discos and a casino. The hotel is located 10 km from Puerto Plata airport.
The All Inclusive sport facilities at the hotel include a daily activities programme, billiards, five a side football, table tennis, games room, aerobic lessons, yoga, stretching and Tai Chi. There are scuba diving lessons in pool, snorkelling, windsurfing, pedaloes and kayaks. The hotel offers 2 swimming pools with waterfalls and beach and pool sun loungers and towels. There is a supervised kid's club with professional bilingual staff, a children's pool with jacuzzi and a daily activities programme (art and crafts, games, pool games, beach activities open from 9 am to 6 pm). The hotel offers a fitness centre and jacuzzi. There is an evening entertainment programme and live shows are available in the amphitheatre. The hotel benefits from a scheduled shuttle transport service to the sister Azzurro Club Hotels in Cabarete Beach.
Each of the guestrooms benefits from two double beds (or one king size bed on request).air conditioning, direct dial telephone, cable TV, safety deposit box (local charge), private bathroom, hairdryer, mini fridge (filled daily with water, soda and beer) and a private balcony with the exception of the top floor.
The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast, continental breakfast, lunch and dinner all served buffet style in the La Bahia restaurant. With meals juices, soft drinks, cocktails, wine and mineral water are served. Snacks (pizza, burgers, hotdogs, cookies, etc.) are available at the beach bar, at El Patio and at the poolside at 4 pm and at 11 pm at La Bahia restaurant. The All Inclusive drinks include both national and international drinks such as whisky, gin, martini, vodka, rum, wine, brandy, soft drinks, mineral water, juices, tea, coffee, etc. The drinks are available 24 hours at La Bahia bar and at the beach bar between 10 am to 5 pm and at the pool bar from 10 am to midnight.
The restaurants available are El Patio Grill (from noon to 5 pm for light lunches and snacks or from 7 am to 10 pm with Caribbean a la carte specialties, reservation required for dinner). The Sabatini Restaurant overlooks Sosua Bay and serves Mediterranean gourmet cuisine ‘a la carte' with the All Inclusive menu of the day featuring the finest pastas, antipasti, beef, veal and lamb (7 pm to 10.30 pm, reservation required). There is the Marco Polo Asian restaurant where there are magnificent views of the bay and offers an a la carte restaurant with exotic dishes from the Far East (7 pm to 10 pm, reservation required). The Las Olas restaurant can be found right on the beach and offers fresh foods cooked directly in front of guests (10 am to 6 pm for light lunches and snacks and 7 pm to 10 pm with Caribbean specialties, reservation required for dinner). And lastly, the L'Etoile D'Or is a new world a la carte restaurant offering creative cuisine (reservation required, supplement charged, 7 pm to 11 pm).
There is a choice of four bars for guests which are the El Patio Bar (cocktails, liquors, fruit juices, noon to 5 pm), the La Cascada Pool Bar (tropical drinks directly in the pools, 10 am to midnight), Lobby Bar (welcome drinks, 10 am to midnight) and the Las Olas Beach Bar (on the beach, 10 am to 5 pm).
