The Sol Gavilanes offers a pool, children's pool, sun beds and parasols, water sports at the beach (seasonal), diving school, children's club, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, massages, internet access and supermarket within the hotel complex. There is a 14 hole golf course 24 km from the hotel. The hotel offers an entertainment programme for adults and children. The hotel offers guests three restaurants.

The hotel was refurbished in 2000 and offers 297 double rooms, 9 single rooms, 29 family rooms and 11 junior suites. Guests have direct access to the beach and it is only a 5 minute walk to a variety of shops and restaurants in Cala Galdana. The historic town of Ciutadella is only 30 minutes away. The airport is approx 37km from the resort of Cala Galdana.
