Santa Cruz de la Palma is located on the East coast of La Palma along an old lava flow coming from the Caldereta volcano. It is the capital of the La Palma and is home to the only major port of the island. Santa Cruz de la Palma has a small black volcanic sand beach to relax on. Some of the attractions here include the Town Hall, Iglesia del Salvador Church, Museum of Natural Science and the volcanic crater of La Caldereta. La Palma Airport is approx 13 km from the resort.
