Located just above Maspalomas, the resort of Salobre Golf is ideal for every golf enthusiast. Just a 15 minute drive will take you the dunes and the beach and for the livelier time in the larger resort of Maspalomas.

Beaches

The resorts of Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas are approx 11km away and here you will find mile upon mile of sandy beach and, of course, the desert-like Maspalomas Dunes.

Things to Do

Salobre Golf is a prestigious resort set alongside two 18 hole golf courses; Salobre North which incorporates the natural volcanic rock environment and Salobre South which enjoys beautiful views to the sea and mountains. The Club also has a golf academy, putting and chipping greens, a practice bunker, a pro shop and hire centre. The clubhouse and restaurant specialises in Canarian cuisine and enjoys views to the Roque Nublo.

Located at the foothills of the mountains, surrounded by winding roads, lush valleys and the rocky walls of the ravines; there are also plenty of scenic routes for hiking, climbing and cycling.

There is a further 18 hole golf club at Maspalomas (12km) and another at Las Meloneras (6km). Also at Las Meloneras there is a casino and the Pasito Blanco Marina, with ferries connecting you to the resorts of Puerto Mogan, Puerto Rico, Anfi del Mar and Arguineguin.

Out and About

The nearby beach resorts of Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas offer many activities including camel safaris, jeep and quad bike tours, horse riding, swimming with sea lions, skydiving, sight-seeing by helicopter and scuba diving.

Playa del Ingles also has many commercial centres packed with hundreds of bars, eateries, shops, supermarkets and nightclubs as well as the street market which takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Visitor attractions nearby range from Aqualand waterpark and Holiday World amusement park in Maspalomas to the lovely Palmitos Park (16km), La Baranda Camel Safari Park, the wild west themed Sioux City (16km) and the reconstructed Aboriginal villages at Mundo Aborigen (16km).
