The Riu Monica Hotel offers guests a swimming pool (heated in winter), children's pool, sun terrace with sun beds and parasols, table tennis, tennis and children's playground. It offers internet access, hairdressers, souvenir shop, pool/snack bar, lounge bar, seasonal kids entertainment and restaurant. There is live music or shows several times a week.

The hotel offers 234 guest rooms and all benefit from private bathroom, hair-dryer, telephone, mini bar, satellite TV, music channel, safety deposit box (local charge) and balcony or terrace. Some of the rooms have an air conditioning unit and central heating (according to the season).

The hotel is situated 800 metres from the centre of Nerja and the shopping centre and 80 km from Malaga airport. There is a bus stop just 50 metres from the hotel.
