Quinta Do Sol is located in front of the Quinta Magnolia sports and leisure centre park, shops, restaurants, cafes and a local bus stop are within walking distance.

Facilities include a large heated swimming pool, fitness room, jacuzzi and sauna (for a fee), snooker, darts and table tennis (also free) and a games room with cards and table games. A variety of entertainment is on offer such as folk dancing (1 x week) and pianist (6 x weeks) and theme nights.

A total of 151 rooms, all with private marble bathroom with hairdryer and vanity mirror, air conditioning (except in the ground floor rooms in the main building), cable television, fridge, private safe and direct dial telephone. Either enclosed or exterior balcony overlooking the Quinta Magnolia park or the ocean.
