Puerto de Pollensa
The resort has a long stretch of sandy beach with shallow waters ideal for young children. The resort has plenty of amenities and is suitable for families, couples and groups.

There are two beaches in Puerto de Pollensa one either side of the marina, Albercutx beach is narrow and runs for 2 km in front of the Pine Walk and the Pollensa beach starts at the south of the marina and stretches for some 4 km.
Both beaches are sandy with calm clear water, and offer good facilities with sun-loungers and umbrellas to hire, plenty of refreshment options close by and a wide variety of watersport activities including banana rides, jet-ski, pedal boats and kite surfing.
Things to do
Much of the entertainment is centred by the beach where a variety of watersports are available plus boat trips along the coastline. Puerto Pollensa is also home to Fantasy World, ideal for families with younger children looking for a respite from the sun in this air-conditioned indoor play centre with café.
Nature lovers and bird spotters will enjoy the S'Albufereta Natural Reserve in Pollensa Bay, this large area consists of marsh, lakes, riverside woodland and coastal ecosystems, and is packed with wildlife and many species of bird.
Out and about
Like many of Majorca's popular resorts Puerto de Pollensa was once a fishing village, and retaining its nautical origins now has a modern marina filled with yachts, around which a number of shopping options can be found and it%u2019s also the location of the weekly market which takes place every Wednesday.
Along the resorts promenade to the south of the marina and the Pine Walk which runs to the north offer a number of outdoor bars and restaurants, in fact throughout the resort you'll be spoilt for choice with the vast number of wining and dining options available. The resort offers a vibrant nightlife with plenty of lively bars and a couple of discos.
The old town of Pollensa is just 8 km inland from the port; one of the main reasons to visit this small and charming town is for the interesting historical buildings and the famous 365 Calvario Steps which lead to a hillside chapel, well worth the climb for the fantastic views.
The neighbouring resort of Alcudia offers plenty of attractions, families will love the Hidropark which offers pools, waterslides, mini-golf and much more, there is also the Laberinth Maze and a large karting track. Alcudia is also a city of historical interest with its Roman walls, a Roman theatre, a small Roman church and even a 19th century bull-ring.
